AI cover letter generator

Most AI cover letters are confident and empty

They bluff past the gaps because nothing tells them where the gaps are. RoleFit grades you against the job first, then writes a letter that leads with real strengths and handles the weak spots honestly.

  • 250–300 words, one clear argument
  • Never repeats your resume bullets back
  • Names a gap rather than papering over it

Built on a real assessment

Before writing a word, RoleFit grades your evidence against every requirement in the posting. The letter is then told exactly where you're strong and where you're thin.

It doesn't bluff

On a weak match it writes the honest, dignified version: a focused case for the overlap that genuinely exists. No manufactured enthusiasm, no claiming skills you can't defend in the interview.

Argues, rather than summarising

It opens with a thesis about the company's actual problem — not "I am writing to apply for" — and never repeats a resume bullet verbatim.

A resume you can defend in the room

It is trivial to generate a resume that scores well and collapses under one follow-up question. RoleFit will not invent a metric, an employer, a title, a date or a certification — and it checks its own output, tracing every figure back to the document you uploaded and flagging anything it cannot account for.

Where you genuinely fall short, it tells you, names the requirement, and says whether the application is worth your time at all.

Questions

Will a recruiter be able to tell it was AI-written?

The letter is built entirely from your own achievements and makes one specific argument about this company's problem, which is the opposite of the generic output people recognise. It is also fully editable — putting it in your own words before sending is always worth the five minutes.

Does RoleFit invent experience I don't have?

No. Every metric, employer, job title, date and certification in your tailored resume must appear in the document you upload. RoleFit additionally cross-checks every number in the output against your original and flags anything it can't trace, so you can confirm each figure before you send it.

Will the file actually parse in an applicant tracking system?

Yes. The resume is single-column with standard headings, and exports as a real .docx and a text-layer PDF. Nothing is rendered as an image, which is the usual reason a good-looking resume parses as a blank page.

What does it cost?

Your first application kit is free when you create an account. Paid plans aren't live yet.

Can I edit what it produces?

Every line is editable in the browser before you download, and your edits flow into the .docx, the PDF and the plain-text version.
